January 23, 2023 – The Organization of American States (OAS) has launched its 2023 Academic Scholarship Program. A scholarship will be awarded to a citizen or permanent resident of Canada to undertake a study or research project, at the level of master’s or doctoral degree, leading to a degree in a university of one of the member states of the OAS , excluding Canada. The scholarship is valid from January to December 2023.

- Target audiences: Canadian students and researchers (citizens or permanent residents of Canada)
- Duration of the scholarship: 1 to 2 university years
- Value : $10,000 (maximum) per academic year
- Inclusions : Airfare, tuition, compulsory expenses, monthly stipend, medical insurance and annual book allowance
- Deadline : 10 mars 2023
