No information has been recorded about Vietnamese citizens affected by earthquakes | Vietnamese people in four directions

On February 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed the Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran (concurrently Syria) to contact local authorities and the Vietnamese community to find understand information and be ready to take measures to protect citizens in case of Vietnamese citizen was the victim of the earthquake that occurred on the same morning.

Until the end of February 6, there was no information about Vietnamese citizens affected by the earthquake.

On the morning of February 6, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake shook Turkey and Syria. The tremors could be felt in many neighboring countries.

As of 20:30 Vietnam time, the number of victims after the earthquake has reached 1,600 dead and thousands injured in the two countries.
