A class action against Epic Games Inc., developer of the Fortnite video game, brought in 2019, was dismissed by the Quebec Court of Appeal on Friday.

The Fortnite game achieved global success upon its release in 2017.
It is one of the few free games on all platforms, but offers paid options to change the appearance of your character, among other things.
The applicants believe that gambling is addictive.
