Social plans continue in the tech professions, following a month of January already marked by record layoffs. In total, nearly 36,000 new job cuts were announced throughout the month of February.
They are in addition to the 84,400 already identified the previous month, and while 161,000 jobs had already been eliminated in 2022, according to data compiled by the American site Layoffs.fyi.
