Orthodox Church representatives met CPM State Secretary MV Govindan. The meeting came following the church leadership made public its protest once morest the government’s move to enact legislation. The Orthodox Church informed the party secretary regarding its position. After hearing the concerns, MV Govindan has assured that the complaint will be conveyed to the concerned places. The half-hour long meeting was held at a private hotel following the program of the People’s Defense Yatra in Kottayam
