TRENTO. A 58-year-old skier from Bolzano who was the protagonist of a skiing accident this morning, Sunday 12 March, in the Pampeago-Obereggen area, is very serious.
It was just after 9.30 when the man fell during a descent on the Pala di Santa slope, one of the most demanding with its very steep wall, and hit his head on the snow.
The slope rescue immediately intervened. The skier was unconscious.
Intubated on the spot, he was transported by helicopter to the S. Chiara hospital in Trento. His condition is very serious.
