A full stadium with a great atmosphere and a strong Austrian national football team. Austria got off to a good start in qualifying for the European Championship on Friday in the new Linz stadium. Even without the two stars David Alaba and Marko Arnautovic, the ÖFB team was always in control of a weak opponent and easily achieved the mandatory win. With a similar performance on Monday in a sold-out Linz stadium, Estonia shouldn’t be a problem either. Six points from the first two games would not be a reason to get euphoric. But they would at least give hope that Austria can also score once morest its two closest rivals, Belgium and Sweden, and qualify directly for the 2024 European Championships in Germany. Team boss Ralf Rangnick’s team definitely has the potential to achieve this goal.
Point of view: This start of the ÖFB team gives hope
