Vienna – At the beginning of the year, the picture changed once more at the petrol pumps: following diesel was more expensive than petrol for almost nine months, fuel now costs less on average once more. On Tuesday, a liter of diesel cost an average of 1.598 euros, while petrol cost 1.608 euros, the ÖAMTC refers to the official fuel price calculator. Overall, fuel prices fell in March compared to March 2022, although they have recently risen once more somewhat.
