Apple continues to expand its own map service, Apple Maps. The aim of a briefing was to build the “world’s best map”, which at the same time complies with data protection regulations and is deeply integrated into Apple’s ecosystem. The additions of recent years were also emphasized, ranging from live traffic information to public transport planning and turn-by-turn navigation to the route planning introduced some time ago with up to 15 waypoints.
