The video game industry does not stop advancing and from Sony have patented a function that would allow games to detect the emotions of the playerss during their games.
This patent was released by Gaming Bolt, and aims to detect the emotions of the player through his voice and in this way “moderate the video games”.
This system in this way could “store the emotional profile” of a playerand thus be able to do things like prevent bullying language or other negative behaviors that occur in video games.
As detailed, this patent was filed in September 2021 and as has happened with a lot of previously filed patents, there is always the possibility that it will never see the light of day and remain a simple idea.
