Eastern European farmers are unable to compete with Ukrainian production

A glut of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products has nearly halved the value of Vieru’s work, leaving farmers in eastern and central Europe and their governments, most of whom face elections this year or next, torn between solidarity with Ukraine and concern for their own survival.
