The next RPG from the creators of Gothic and ELEX will be released in early 2026

German edition games economy reported that the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection has allocated a subsidy of 3.17 million euros to the studio Piranha Bytes for the development of a new game.

The next title from the creators of Gothic and ELEX is codenamed WIKI6 and is scheduled for release in early 2026. It is expected to be a role playing game once more. Whether this will be a new franchise or a new part of an existing one is unknown.

Piranha Bytes’ latest game is ELEX II, released in March 2022.
