“Bouygues Reports Positive Q1 Operating Profit Thanks to Equans Acquisition”

May 16 (Archyde.com) – Bouygues reported positive first-quarter operating profit on Tuesday, beating market expectations, boosted by the acquisition of Equans last year.

The construction, telecommunications and media group posted a current operating profit of 9 million euros in the first quarter, once morest a loss of 66 million euros a year earlier.

Analysts polled by the company expected a loss of 2 million euros.
