The Infinix Note 30 VIP is official, bringing the company’s full fast charging to the mid-range. It doesn’t quite run at the maximum speed of 260W, in fact, it’s not even faster on the wire than its predecessor, but it does add 50W fast wireless charging, which is unparalleled at these prices.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP’s 5000mAh battery can take 68W wired charging. The 50W wireless charging can charge 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes, while running full on the wired connection of 68W, you will get from 1% to 80% in the same amount of time.
The innovation also goes beyond mere speed – the Note 30 VIP supports bypass charging – when the battery reaches 30%, charging current can bypass the battery and go directly to the motherboard. This reduces overheating while charging and gaming at the same time. Infinix says the feature can lower the temperature by 7°. Add to that the built-in 2890mm² liquid cooling vapor chamber, and the Infinix Note 30 VIP should easily stay cool while gaming.
Back to the battery – the Infinix Note 30 VIP battery is designed to retain 80% of its capacity following 1,000 charge cycles – that’s 25% better than the industry standard of 800 cycles, and should give users the peace of mind for at least 3 years.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP is built around a 6.67-inch 1080x2400px AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and 900 nits peak brightness.
There’s a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
On the camera side, the Infinix Note 30 VIP has a 108 MP main camera and two 2 MP sensors alongside it. There’s a 32MP selfie stick on the other end.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP features quality of life benefits such as JBL-tuned dual speakers, Z-axis vibration motor, and IP53 dust and splash protection (depends on the region).
The Infinix Note 30 VIP is available in Magic Black and Glacier Blue for $299.
