Running, cycling, swimming… How data has conquered the world of professional and amateur sport

Not so long ago, they were reserved for an elite, that of athletes or trainers at the cutting edge of technology. Now they flood the world of professional and amateur sport. The data collected from all sides is used both by an athlete in full preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and by Mr. or Mrs. Everybody with a view to improving over 10 km in running, during a marathon, a triathlon, or golf… Data has conquered the sports world. At the VivaTech show, from June 14 to 17, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (15th century), a “Sport of the future” theme is even entirely dedicated to it.
