January 26, 2023: The University of New Hampshire publishes a survey crediting Ron DeSantis with 42% of voting intentions among voters likely to participate in the GOP primary for the 2024 presidential election, ahead of Donald Trump (30%), Nikki Haley (8%) and several other potential candidates, including some decided not to run for the presidency.
Six months and a day later, here are the results of a poll from St. Anselm College, which illustrates the Florida governor’s freefall in this state which might play a key role in the selection of the next Republican Party presidential candidate:

Can DeSantis stem this fall and catch up with Trump? Nothing is impossible. But this politician’s touch of streetlight charisma may have contributed to his loss of favor with New Hampshire voters.
