At around 4:00 p.m., a multiple collision was recorded on Route 5 North in the commune of Coquimbo. Specifically, the accident took place under the level crossing located near the San Pablo Hospital.
According to preliminary information, the crash involved four vehicles that were moving from north to south along the route. Due to the impact, at least five people were injured.
It should be noted that personnel from the Carabineros and the Samu moved to the place to help the people who were involved in this serious accident.
