The main indices on Wall Street opened higher today, Friday, following 3 of the largest banks in the United States, including JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, kicked off the season of second-quarter earnings announcements with strong results.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose at the open, 30.19 points, or 0.09%, to 34,425.33 points.
The Standard & Poor’s index opened up 4.57 points, or 0.10%, to 4,514.61 points, according to Archyde.com.
While the Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 28.09 points, or 0.20%, to 14,166.66 points at the open.
