The fact that the Wels inner city criterion has developed into a figurehead for Wels and the cycling location Upper Austria over the past 24 years is mainly due to one person: Paul Resch. The man from Wels initiated the event as President of the State Cycling Association. Also this year he is working tirelessly to make the event on July 26th a success.
