The project was introduced by Austrian Climate Minister Leonor Gevesler. The Tatu ticket has been introduced as part of Austria’s climate ticket campaign.

Those who have a climate ticket tattoo on their body will get free travel. Train, tram, bus and metro travel systems can be used by tattoo wearers. A single tattoo is equivalent to a ticket worth 1,000 Euros (roughly Rs. 89,864). The minister’s announcement was made during a music program held in Salzbeg and St. Poltel. The minister also said that the first three people who get a permanent tattoo will get free travel.

She also released a picture of the tattoo on the minister’s body. But the minister’s tattoo is temporary. A special tattoo stall was also opened in conjunction with the music program. The first three people who participated in each music event will get a pass. About six people have tattooed their bodies so far. Many people volunteered to get tattooed. After the free ticket expires, they will have to undergo laser treatment to remove the tattoo.
