Director of training at AS Saint-Etienne, Laurent Huard justified the loan departures of two attackers, Mathys Saban and Yanis Lhéry.
« It’s also an additional step for them, to get a higher step behind. We are getting closer to a National 1 championship. No doubt the reserve step was no longer high enough for them. The goal was to make them play in a first team, for them to establish themselves in a professional group. Now they have the cards in hand,” declared Laurent Huard in comments given to the site Evect.
