Sharjah Police with campaign to educate public to prevent cyber crimes. Sharjah Police has launched an awareness platform called Be Aware. Residents, citizens and visitors will be educated about steps to be taken to prevent various online crimes. Officials urged victims of scams not to report. Topics like e-blackmail, telephone fraud and hacking are included in the campaign. According to the police, 351 cyber crimes were registered in the first six months of this year alone.
