Shortly before midnight on Thursday, a civil patrol in Wels became aware of the 27-year-old scooter driver because he was driving along the B1 at around 70 km/h – significantly faster than the permitted 25 km/h. During a subsequent check on the visibly impaired man, a voluntary rapid drug test came back positive for cocaine, amphetamines and THC.
The man refused to be taken to the medical officer. His driver’s license could not be taken away because it had already been revoked. The 27-year-old is reported.
