Defamation Case: Trinamool Congress vs. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey – Latest Updates and Analysis

New Delhi: Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has filed a defamation case once morest BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. A defamation case was filed in Delhi High Court.

Nishikant Dubey alleged that Mahua Moitra took bribe from the industry to raise the question in Parliament. The complaint once morest Mahua Moitra was left to the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee. Moitra filed a defamation case following this.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla forwarded the complaint once morest Moitra to the ethics committee. BJP MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar is the Chairman of the Ethics Committee.

BJP leader and MP Nishikant Dubey alleged that 50 of the 61 questions asked by Mahua Moitra in the Lok Sabha were accepted as bribes or gifts. Adv. who was also a friend of Moitra. Dubey also says in the complaint that Jai Anand has given evidence to support this.

Dubey’s demand is to investigate the allegations once morest Mahua and suspend him immediately.
