The people of Ebbs had to argue with the people of Kufstein because of the tunnel. The small community of Ebbs urgently wanted to connect the Kaisertal to the road network, the mountain was in the way. The large city of Kufstein was once morest it, together with conservationists and the Alpine Association. In the end, the tunnel friends prevailed. In 2008 the first car drove through the brand new Anna Tunnel into the Tyrolean valley. A tunnel for 35 Kaisertalers. Today, says Ebbs Mayor Josef Ritzer, no one would want to live without the hole in the mountain.
