On Friday, during the day, a man contacted the police. He indicated that two people were squatting in his home and that he had been threatened by these individuals.
The police therefore went there and discovered in the room that the two suspects were in possession of narcotics, cannabis and cocaine and a large sum of money.
The two suspects who are illegally staying in Belgium and who are not known to the courts explained that the drugs in their possession were for their personal consumption. However, they were unable to explain where all this money came from.
The two men were deprived of their liberty and referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office on Saturday. Their case was placed under investigation and a request for an arrest warrant was made once morest them.
