Our brothers and sisters of Sudinfo reported this Tuesday morning that a project, still at the public inquiry stage, for a performance hall with a restaurant might soon see the light of day in Saint-Gilles. The latter would be located on the Chaussée d’Alsemberg at number 102, in place of two existing businesses.
The project aims to propel emerging and established artists to the forefront and thus complement the cultural and artistic offerings of the district. With its 150 places, the project also includes the establishment of a comedy club which will be able to accommodate around forty people.
On the ground floor of the building, a restaurant with around thirty seats will be created. “The development of the business-restaurant contributes to the liveliness of neighborhood life and offers a new place for sharing and community,” explain the project leaders to our colleagues.
The public inquiry will close on November 13.
