Kozhikode: The wife said that her husband committed suicide following threats from a female friend. His wife Deepa made allegations once morest her female friend in the death of tipper lorry driver Namanda Karikirikandi Jayesh (36). Deepa lodged a complaint with the Balusherry police demanding an investigation. Jayesh, who had been living on rent with his female friend for months, was found hanging dead last night.
Relatives said that before his death, he called home and informed that he will not go anywhere and will come tomorrow. In the complaint, the wife says that the female friend constantly threatened to implicate her husband in a false case, exploited her financially and cut her left hand. His wife also says that Jayesh’s female friend threatened her. The family says that when the woman came to know regarding Jayesh’s death, she called asking for a mobile phone, raising more suspicions.
