Dubai: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) officials have announced that the minimum top-up amount of Noll card will be raised to 20 dirhams. The new rate will be effective from 15th of this month. Currently, the minimum top-up rate is 5 dirhams. But the officials also clarified that the card of passengers should have a minimum of 15 dirhams for a round trip on the metro transit network. Noll Card, a prepaid smart card, can be used to travel on various public transport systems in the emirate, pay public parking charges and entrance fees to some public parks. Also, you can make payments at more than 2,000 shops in the emirate using Noll cards.
RTA The card can be topped up through vending machines, solar top-up machines and Nol Pay app. Those who pay public parking fares and use Noll cards on public transport systems can earn points through Noll Plus, RTA’s loyalty and rewards scheme. Discounts can be availed through Loyalty Points for topping up Nol Card or shopping at selected outlets.
