The store is well known in the south of Brussels. The vast Vastiau-Godeau furniture store in Alsemberg (municipality of Beersel) has closed its doors.
“Created in 1921 as a humble furniture manufacturer, Vastiau-Godeau has over the years become an iconic name in the world of furniture and home accessories in the region,” recalls the company in a farewell letter published on its site.
