Póvoa de Varzim tests Filipe Cruz’s pupils on Portuguese soil – news

Today, the senior men’s national handball team faces Póvoa de Varzim, in Portugal. The match is of a private nature, aimed at preparing for the African Cup of Nations, a competition to be held in Egypt, from the 17th to the 25th of this month.

On Saturday, the Warriors beat the Portuguese team Águas Santas, by 32 -26, in the fourth preparatory game.

At halftime of the match, played in the region of Gaia, North of Portugal, the Angolan team held a short advantage of 16-15. This was the fourth friendly match for the National Team, led by coach Filipe Cruz, following the double victory over FC do Porto, by 28-24 and 35-33, and the Cape Verde team, by 28-26.

Egypt, the organizing country, Tunisia, Nigeria, Cape Verde, Congo Brazzaville, Rwanda, Kenya, Morocco, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Cape Verde, Libya, Guinea, Cameroon and Gabon are the teams that will compete in the African Cup of modality.
