COATICOOK. 76 people made a precious gift of life during the Coaticook Lions Club blood drive, which took place Tuesday (January 9), at the Élie-Carrier Community Center.

The person responsible for this event, Vincent Demers, applauds the fact that the initial objective was achieved, in addition to having been slightly exceeded. “We know that following the holiday season, Héma-Québec needs a little more resources for its blood bank. We are therefore very happy to do our part,” explains the man who is also secretary for this section of the Lions.

The next collection will take place on March 19, at the same location.
