Iowa ∙ Former President Donald Trump has a larger lead than any other Republican presidential candidate in Iowa’s Republican primary. The new finding comes in the final Des Moines Register/NBC News/Mediacom poll before Monday’s caucuses.

48% say Trump would be their first choice, 20% support former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and 16% support Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The rest of the primary candidates have all secured less than 10% support. In this poll, Haley appears to be gaining support over Trump and DeSantis. In the final Iowa poll in 2016, Trump had 28% support, compared to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s 23% and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s 15%.
