Las Vegas prohibits citizens and tourists from stopping on its famous pedestrian bridges |

by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

Starting this Tuesday, it is prohibited to stop on the pedestrian bridges of The Strip in Las Vegas, a common site for tourists in search of the perfect photo. The restriction includes stairs and elevators 6 meters from the avenue.

The new arrangement was implemented to ensure consistent flow on the bridges and increase public safety, Clark County announced. Violators might face six months in prison or a $1,000 fine if they refuse to follow police directions.
