Florida Panthers forward William Lockwood had the bad idea of physically attacking goalie Marc-André Fleury and his Minnesota Wild teammates quickly came to his defense.
The Quebecer was trying to control a puck behind his net early in the first period during Friday night’s game at the BB&T Center, when Lockwood came at full speed and knocked him off balance. Fleury fell on the ice, a little stunned.

Meanwhile, three Wild players charged his attacker and defender Zach Bogosian had time to throw a few good punches before the officials got involved. Even Fleury came to take his turn in the melee, while keeping his distance.
