By a decree taken on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, Lieutenant General Mamadi Doumbouya reinstated officers within the Guinean armed forces.
According to the presidential act broadcast by national television, those concerned had been retired by “error”. They are now restored to their rights by the president of the transition and must return to service immediately.
