Egger: A return to the eco-social market economy following years of crisis is necessary for a stable business location

Reducing additional wage costs on the employer side is an important step in remaining internationally competitive, and the willingness to perform is rewarded with tax-free overtime and full-time bonuses. This can guarantee that those who are already doing more than they should benefit from it as much as they should. As a people’s party and business association, we always stand for proper counter-financing. However, it is also clear: We live in a country with the highest taxes and it is now high time to relieve the burden on employees and employers in this country so that performance and responsibility can once more find the recognition they deserve,” said WB General Secretary Abg.z.Nr .
