They were contact points for tourists and Viennese at the same time: the restaurants “Landtmann’s Jausen Station” and Café Residenz on the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace. The snack station was hidden in the thicket of the park and was a popular oasis, especially in summer, for everyone who wanted to refresh themselves following a walk. The Café-Restaurant Residenz, on the other hand, was found in the cavalier wing of the castle itself.
