MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange ended the session in the green on Thursday, following mixed macroeconomic data, recovering losses from the beginning of the week and allowing the S&P 500 to reach a new record.

The Toronto Stock Exchange rose by more than 300 points.

In Toronto, the S&P/TSX rose by +333.29 points (+1.60%) to 21,222.69 points.

In New York, the S&P 500 ended up +29.11 points (+0.58%) at 5,029.73 points.

The Nasdaq gained +47.03 points (+0.30%) to 15,906.17 points.

The DOW closed up +348.85 points (+0.91%) to 38,773.12 points.

The loon collected +US$0.0042 (+0.5725%) to US$0.7428.

The oil collected +US$1.56 (+2.04%) to US$78.20.

L’or advanced +US$11.60 (+0.58%) to US$2,015.90.

The bitcoin lost -US$231.93 (-0.45%) to US$51,429.64.
