Marina Satti’s Zari was presented on Thursday (7.3.2024) by ERT television. The song that will represent Greece has Greek lyrics and brings together many different musical styles.
“I’m sorry, but I really wonder regarding those who have gone crazy. The song is a piece of crap you’ve put in a blender,” noted one user, while another wrote – referring to the fact that it’s the work of multiple composers: “Seriously 8 composers got together to write this abomination????.”
Someone noted that they might see it as a parody, while another Twitter user spoke of satire: “Satti’s Zari is the most satirical thing that has been released in Greek music since the time of Jimi Panousis. Many say easy, sketchy, carefree. I see hard work and opinion”.
