At the head plant of Skoda Auto in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, mass production of the Octavia model in a restyled version began, writes Dvizhok.
New Skoda Octavia will not be produced in Mlada Boleslav for long – in the second half of 2024, car production will be transferred to the plant in Kvasiny. The main enterprise Skoda Auto will concentrate on the production of electric cars: Enyaq, Enyaq Coupe и Elroq.
Let us remind you that Octavia appeared in the branded line Skoda in 1996. Since then, there have been 3 generations of the model, the total production volume of which currently exceeds 7.5 million cars.
Skoda Octavia The current fourth generation is available in versions with eight engines: six petrol and two diesel. These include a pair of mild hybrids, as well as the 265-horsepower 2.0-liter TSI unit found in the RS version.
Earlier, the portal tarantas.news reported that Skoda presented the cheapest electric crossover in its line.
