On the other hand, heavy rain is continuing in Sheikhupura area from time to time.

During heavy rains in Punjab and Balochistan yesterday, lightning struck some areas, resulting in the death of 24 people.

In different districts of Balochistan, 6 people died due to thunder, heavy rain and strong winds, while houses, standing crops, solar panels, roads and bridges were also damaged.
According to the PDMA officials, the recent rains are causing havoc in different districts of Balochistan. Quetta, Pashin, Turbat, Kech, Panjgur and Harnai are among the affected districts.
Due to flood relay, Quetta-Harnai highway is closed, while solar panels, standing crops, crude houses, roads and bridges have been damaged in Quetta’s Hana Warak, Mastung district, Kech, Pishin and Panjgur areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, more rains have been predicted in different areas of Balochistan.
