The accused succeeded to her 70-year-old father multiple blows to the head, using a hydraulic crab and then – shortly before 08:30, yesterday morning – notified the Police and confessed to her crime. “I mightn’t take it anymore and I killed him. I haven’t been taking my medication lately,” he reportedly told the officers
When the police arrived at the house, they found the father dead in a bed. He was struck by a hydraulic crab, which was found at the scene and seized as a crime weapon. Authorities believe the daughter killed her father in his sleep, according to the evidence they have.
The 49-year-old woman was then arrested and taken into custody at the police station. The woman is said to be facing chronic psychological problems, while the 70-year-old’s neighbors are shocked by the tragic incident and declared to the ERT camera. “I had the impression that now she was not here… I don’t know, maybe she came for the holidays… I didn’t imagine that she would get to this point. The man lived alone,” says a neighbor.
A relative of the victim claims that the 49-year-old had hit her father once more at Christmas. “She had hit her father once more at Christmas. This girl is very sick, she has a kind of schizophrenia, she hasn’t been taking her medication for years now,” he said.
