Based on a five-day week, around 15,000 blood donations are needed every day in Germany to ensure that the health system can be reliably supplied with essential blood products, according to a statement. Empty blood donation beds could become a problem, but every blood donation currently counts. The next DRK blood donation campaign will take place on Monday, August 19, from 3:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the gym (multi-purpose room), Auf dem Deich in Wallerstädten.
