According to foreign media reports, the incident with Quzhou, an 8-year-old girl from China’s Zhejiang province, happened on July 30.
County Public Safety officers responded to the scene to help reunite the girl with her family. The police took the girl to her home, Global Times reported.
A report said that the girl’s mother had taught her about the ATM call button and advised her to act quickly if she was ever caught in such a situation.
