AT LEAST 12 people, including nine family members, were killed as a result of overnight Israeli attacks in northern and central Gaza.

Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that all nine members of the family were killed in an attack targeting their apartment in the Shujaiah neighborhood in northern Gaza.

Separately, the Israeli military also carried out an attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza, killing three others, including a child, and injuring several more.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has fired Energa anti-tank grenades at a house in the occupied West Bank city of Aqaba.

Armed clashes occurred between Palestinian resistance forces and the Israeli military in the city.

“The explosive device targeted an Israeli military vehicle,” witnesses said.

The Al Quds Brigade, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, said in a statement that its fighters were engaged in heavy fighting with Israeli forces that attacked Aqaba.

“Targeting the Israeli military with heavy fire and explosives and carrying out direct attacks,” he concluded. (TRT World/Z-2)
