The program initially concentrates on East Asia (China,Mongolia,North Korea,south Korea,Japan,Taiwan) and Southeast Asia (myanmar,Laos,Vietnam,Thailand,Cambodia,malaysia,Singapore,Brunei,Indonesia,east Timor,Philippines). Plans are in place to eventually include South Asia (India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh) in research and training activities.

Program Details and Admission

The bachelor’s degree program, beginning in the 2025/2026 academic year, comprises 21 exams (180 credits) and a thesis. A university entrance qualification is required for admission. Students enrolled in other degree programs are also eligible to apply.Non-Italian speakers must demonstrate B2 level Italian proficiency, which can be obtained at the university. English proficiency is also required for all students. The program includes an admission interview and a letter of motivation, and mandatory personal attendance.
