What inspired you to take on the new Hugo Boss campaign, considering you had previously said yoru bodywear modeling days were over?

David beckham: “Well, first I must say that I’m always excited about finding new ways to collaborate with Hugo Boss, as we’ve had a long-term partnership. But what really drew me to this campaign was their vision for the new Boss One collection. And of course, the chance to work with my good friends Mert and Marcus again was an opportunity I couldn’t resist.”


Can you tell us about your readiness process for the shoot? We heard you even cut out “good food and wine”!

David Beckham: *laughs* “Yes, indeed.I trained for about 14 weeks leading up to the shoot. I wanted to ensure I was in the best shape possible to represent the collection. It was a lot of discipline, but worth it in the end.”


Your wife, Victoria, showed her support on Instagram. How did that make you feel?

David Beckham: “It meant the world to me.Her support is incredibly important to me, and seeing her post about the campaign made me very proud.”


Your mother-in-law also had some interesting feedback on the campaign… Care to share?

David Beckham: *chuckles* “Yes, well, she and her friends were quite taken by the photos. They were so impressed with the quality of the collection that they were examining them quite closely.
