BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Miami University women’s swimming and diving team participated in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship on Friday,Feb. 28, showcasing their talent against strong competition. After three days of intense competition, the team holds third place with a total of 376 points.

  • Ashley Sego: Secured tenth place in the 400 IM, clocking in at 4:26.11.
  • Kaylin Herbet: Achieved third place in the 200-yard freestyle, completing the race in 1:47.84.
  • Natalie Gilson: Took fourth place in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:01.59.

Karen Johnson (KJ): I’m incredibly proud of how our team has performed. We’ve seen some remarkable individual performances and a lot of heart from every athlete. While we’re aiming for the top spot,I believe our team’s resilience and determination have truly shone through.
