Shohei Otani Nipping at Judge’s Heels
Shohei Otani is hot on Judge’s trail with 1,398,771 votes, leaving open the possibility of overtaking Judge and claiming the top spot. Otani is one of five players from the National Football Conference (NFC) with over a million votes, alongside teammates Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Bears, and Francisco Lindor of the Metropolis.
The Road to the All-Star Game
The first round of voting concludes on June 27, Beijing time. Each league’s voter will automatically secure a starting spot in the All-Star Game. The top two designated hitters and the top six outfielders with the most votes will advance to the second round. Notably, if an outfielder leads the league in votes, only the next four outfielders will progress to the second round, competing for the remaining two starting outfield spots.
